About the Aumailley Lab
As a researcher from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Monique Aumailley worked in several laboratories, including INSERM laboratory in Bordeaux, Max‐Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried, National Institute for Dental Research (NIH, Bethesda), Institut de Biologie et Chimie des Protéines in Lyon, and Institute for Biochemistry of the Medical Faculty at the University of Cologne.
Research focus
Monique Aumailley's research is and has always been dedicated to extracellular matrix proteins, with a special emphasis on those forming the basement membranes, their interactions with cell surface receptors (integrins) and how they control cellular activities.
